Fowles Exception wines are one-off parcels of exceptional fruit or the result of inventive winemaking projects each vintage. Unique, small production, limited release wines.
The Exception Single Vineyard wine is from an outstanding vintage in the Strathbogie Ranges in Victoria. Dark inky burgundy in colour, this rich, concentrated wine displays ripe dark berries, spiced plum and black pepper on the palate with fine, chalky tannins and sweet vanilla, clove and cedar oak maturation notes. A complex, yet balanced cool climate Shiraz, with excellent length.
