Sorby AdamsJellicoe Riesling 2013
About this product
The Jellicoe vineyard lies at around 475 metres above sea level with low-yielding, 30 year old Riesling vines. The cool climate perfectly accentuates the classic Riesling aromas and flavours that have made the Eden Valley world famous, with lime, lemon and grapefruit. Hints of orange blossom, jasmine, lime cordial and crushed quartz along with lighter notes of lemon myrtle and talc. Zesty, fresh and tight.

Light bodied white wines have a water-light mouthfeel. Often very pale to light colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Light quartz; a strikingly perfumed bath powder and musk bouquet leads into a supple palate where citrus fruit takes control, but without casting the bouquet adrift. Built to live for years.
