Incredible colour in the glass suggests there is plenty in here to appeal. It’s a highly perfumed wine displaying all the ripe plummy, blackberry nuances you expect from the Barossa. Winemaker Simon Adams isn’t afraid to use oak and in this case, has whacked in French oak for 24 months. But it’s lapped it up to strike balance and poise. Rich and succulent with plush velvety smooth flavours. Sensational value for this quality.

Sweetly ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, dark cherry, olive, and roasted hazelnut aromas. The palate delivers succulent fruit intensity with spicy nuances, beautifully framed by plump mouthfeel and silky tannins, making it velvety and delectable. At its best: now to 2034.
