Sorby Adams Neptune Rings is a premium red wine range of signature Barossa grape varieties sourced from the region's finest soils.<br>This collection honors our ancestor, John Couch Adams, who, along with fellow mathematicians, proved the existence of the planet Neptune in the 1840s.<br>His name is immortalized in one of Neptune's five rings.<br>Galle is another ring of Neptune and is our signature Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon wine.<br>This wine showcases a dark, brick-red color with a magenta hue and features complex aromas of cherry and plum. On the palate, rich black cherry and plum flavours come alive, accompanied by hints of licorice and mint, all with impressive length and finesse.<br>It has been matured in French oak hogsheads (30% new) for 24 months, using air-dried wood from Francois Frere and Taransaud Coopers.<br>The grapes are sourced from Angaston in the Eden Valley and Ebenezer in the Barossa Valley.<br>It is enjoyable now and has the potential to age beautifully until 2038.
