About this product

A modern rum of excellent quality which has a honeyed sweetness and dark, dried fruit flavour. Produced by the Elements 8 Rum Company Ltd using St Lucian rum and aged for 6 years in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. Great as a mixer or in cocktails.

So going on my intuition, this rum is not spiced... so none of these reviews make any sense.. Honestly as a gold Rum its quite pleasant compared to many on the market. I think the price point definitely matches its profile. I cant say its

this rum has very strong cinnamon flavours, but if you enjoy them it is the the rum for you. It tastes ok by itself or on ice but is ok with cola also. If you like Old J rum you will enjoy this!

If you like a nice spiced rum like sailor Jerry's etc this is nothing like them. Strong unpleasant aftertaste and I didn't enjoy it at all.
