About this product

First produced at the Luxardo plant in Zara (now Croatia) around 1905, these sour Marasca cherries are candied with syrup. Today the Luxardo family exclusively cultivates over 30,000 Marasca Cherry trees in the Veneto region of Italy and are used by the finest mixologists the world over.

I love those cherries you get on top of your cocktail - these ones are not them!(The Sandhurst Italian Maraschino Cherries are). These cherries are in a very sweet almond tinged syrup. I found them more suited for cooking as in Black Forest
