About this product

Peychaud's is the template for the Creole or New Orleans style of aromatic bitters, often interpreted as more anise-forward than other aromatic bitters. Peychaud's is an essential element in the historical Sazerac cocktail and is called for in many other classic cocktails as one of the most prominent bitters of the time. The taste is sweet with hints of cherry, clove, and nutmeg on the nose. Enjoy in a Sazerac, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, and many other classic cocktails.

Originally bought this to make a sazerac, worked well but ended up sitting in my cupboard for years because i dont find it as versatile as agnostura. However recently ive been adding it to soft drinks and find myself using it a lot more.

My favourite easily available bitters in the world. Naturally it is fantastic in the greatest cocktail in the world (a Sazerac) but also goes great in a Manhattan (particularly in combination with other bitters) and can even add a new depth
