Sebastien RiffaultLes Quarterons 2008
About this product
Sebastien Riffault is another loose cannon in the Loire, going against the trend of flavourless, adjusted wines from many of his colleagues in Sancerre. He adds nothing in the production of intense Sauvignon Blanc, starting with horse ploughed vines, often picked very late and with some botrytis. The Quarterons is the least radical wine in the range, made in stainless steel and with the addition of some SO2, yet still a giant step up from many generic styles made.
