Jean-Philippe FichetBourgogne Blanc VV 2011
About this product
Fichet pours most of his effort into the vineyards, bringing in the best fruit possible and then carrying it gently through the winemaking process. The fruit for this wine comes from Les Pellands and Les Millerands, both very good Bourgogne sites partly in Meursault. There is some weight of fruit on the nose and notable volume in the mouth with powerful, almost sweet fruit, despite the wine being technically bone-dry. This is a substantial mini-Meursault with an excellent finish.
