Brothers Giovanni and Silvano Pasquero-Elia assisted by oenologist Dante Scaglione of Giacosa fame, produce excellent, Barbaresco, Barbera and Arneis. The poor soil of their Campolive vineyard coaxes intense plum, cherry, orange and violet characters from Barbera, which has a juicy palate balanced by tinling acidity and structure. A benchmark vintage and example of Barbera.
