Three generations of the Allram family are still currently involved in growing and making powerful Gruner Veltliner and Riesling in Austria's famed Kamptal region. 'Strassertaler' is a Gruner Veltliner selection from a number of Allram vineyards, primarily with a slate and gravel profile. This results in Gruner with an emphasis on the variety's signature characters of citrus and pepperiness, the finish is full, textured and tingling. 2012 is an excellent vintage of richness and generosity.
