In January 2010, Damoiseau distillery bottled some of its most precious vintages, of which this Damoiseau vintage 1991, that was put to age in oak barrels on the 24th of July 1991. Barrel number 31 was carefully selected and its rum was bottled full proof, without adding of water or blending during the whole process. This also explains its high abv 54.4. The result is a very dry and powerful rum. Aromas of vanilla dominated by wood make up a very unique experience
