About this product

Anna and Jason Flowerday run the Te Whare Ra vineyard in Marlborough according to organic and biodynamic practices. The intensely perfumed Toru blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris has nose of mango, citrus, white florals and exotic spice. These lead into a multi-layered palate with flavours of mango, citrus, red apple, lychee and spice. Excellent concentration and weight, a lovely creamy texture and mineral edge culminate in great length of flavour.

A wonderful wine to pair with seafood, cheese or Asian food. No cheap but worth every dollar. Served this wine at our wedding back in 2008. Everyone raved about it.

Enjoyed this immensely. Would recommend for anyone who is a fan of NZ sav blanc who wants to branch out a little. Love how flavours seem to be layered so you taste the different wines in the blend. Will definitely buy this again.
