About this product
A fragrant, moreish & prime example of an Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir. The wine shows notes of crunchy red cherries, fresh strawberries and forest. The light-bodied, silk-textured palate is framed by flavoursome, stalky tannin and gentle acidity.

This is a pallid ruby and like all good pinot noir, the colour gives little indication of the intensity of flavour to follow. Red fruits, briar, and piercing bing cherry notes soar from the glass without the inflection of excessive sweetness. Rather, the impression is one of sapid flavour and a cool, autumnal confluence of savoury, delicate tannins and bright acidity. The wine's tension from fore to aft is a testimony to the optimal fruit ripeness and tannin management from judicious use of stems, extraction and diplomatic choice of oak. This sings a giddy melody of a time in Burgundy, even if only in the mind's eye.
