Rocky GullyFrankland River Riesling 2021
About this product
The Smith Cullam family are the pioneers behind Frankland Estate, a flagbearer for organic viticulture and iconic producer of Western Australia’s Great Southern.
Always such a reliable, great-value Riesling from the Smith Cullam family of Frankland Estate, one of Australia's undisputed champions of this variety. Fresh, pure and with generous Riesling flavour, it never fails to hit the spot. It shows abundant blossom and stone fruit, citrus and melon on the nose. Bath salt, talc and delicate spice undertones. A nicely weighted wine with a generosity of flavour and white stone fruit. Delicate and precise on the palate with generosity of fruit, persistent length of flavour and soft texture.

Vintage 2021
91 points The Wine Front
A touch wild and reductive with a fenugreek over green apple, melon and nectarine. It’s a little spicy, with a fairly thick almost cheesy texture, savoury bits and dried herb, firm chalky texture, green apple acidity, and a flavoursome quinine-laced finish of good length. A bit of oomph here, but also stylish and individual. 91 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
