About this product

The wines surround the crus on the hills of the northern half of Beaujolais. They mostly have an east-facing exposition and have sandy granite soils comprising small stones. This helps conserve the natural freshness of the fruit. These wines are 50 years old on average.
100% Gamay grapes are hand-harvested, selected on a sorting table, and given a very gentle, partial destemming before semi-carbonic fermentation takes place in cement and stainless steel.
This is textbook, bright, fresh and generously fruity Beaujolais. Cherry and rasperry with a dash of spice and fine-grained tannin. A floral and savoury seasoning of dried herb and flowers kicks in through the finish.
