Matured in seasoned barriques. Thoughts immediately rush to pizza, it's that kind of sangiovese. Gets the tastebuds singing with the first rush of black cherry scents with redcurrant, thyme and pepper. Seriously smashable with its vibrancy, its mix of dark chocolate, cola, cherry, licorice and light savouriness running across the palate. Plenty of charm.

Attractively ripe and fragrant with dark plum, sweet cherry, thyme, almond and floral aromas, it's juicy and rounded in the mouth displaying succulent fruit flavours together with silky texture and polished tannins. Elegant and flavoursome at the same time, offering delightful drinking. At its best: now to 2028.
