Pale straw in the glass with characters of nashi pear, grapefruit, nectarine, soft spice, clotted cream and stone. Just a tinge of gewürztraminer in the wine adds some textural components and a shimmer of exotic spice/fruit notes ... think rose petal and a liminal waft of Turkish delight,. The wine then coils with stony intent and sails off into the distance, a light phenolic and citrus wake marking its passage.
