Bodegas Alejandro FePesquera Reserva 2008
About this product
Made entirely from the local Tinta del Pais - the local name given to Ribera's own thick-skinned version of Tempranillo and sourced from older vines, then aged for 24-30 rather than 18 months in oak, followed by 12 months in bottle, this Reserva is intense and concentrated. Cherry, raspberry, vanilla, licorice and minerality. On the palate theres dark cherries and ash, juicy, tangy acidity, and dusty tannins that add grip and focus to a long, sweet, finish.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
