Pierre GaillardAsphodeles Banyuls Blanc 2011
About this product
Banyuls Blanc is a rare commodity. Gaillard produces just 1000 x 500ml bottles. Made from Grenache Gris collected in the early morning to preserve freshness, the wine is then transferred into used oak barrels and aged for 12 months. Aromas of citrus and orange peel, ripe orchard fruit and blossom. In the mouth it's viscous and pulpy with a combination of sweetness, figgy depth, freshness and lingering flavours of honeycomb and peach.
