Eden RoadLong Road Pinot Noir 2017
About this product
The Long Road Pinot is sourced from a variety of vineyards in the Tumbarumba and Canberra districts (ranging from 600 metres to 800 metres above sea level) all grown on decomposed volcanic soils with basalt. This bright and crunchy 2017 was open fermented with indigenous yeasts, with 20% whole bunches, before being pressed to used, 500-litre puncheons (1-3 years old) for seven months. A veritable bargain for this variety, it opens with lovely, youthful vibrant raspberry and spicy notes leading to a bright, crunchy medium-bodied structure with lovely silky tannins and fine length. Another value and an excellent pouring option.
