About this product

The first release is drawn from a 30-50 year old biodynamic vineyard in Lugny, in the northern Mâconnais. The winemaking is not at all dissimilar to Garagiste’s homeland protocol; whole bunch pressing directly into 350-litre seasoned barrels, native yeast ferment and native MLF, élevage for 15 months on lees and minimal sulphur at bottling. Barney’s train of thought tasting notes sums up the deliciousness on offer well: “Wet rocks, stonefruit, bees wax, almond meal. Great detail, long and focused, stonefruit, waxy, citrus on the finish, great balance.”
