Di Majo Norante
Moli Rosso 2016

About this product

This fleshy morsel from Molice lone wolf, Di Majo Norante, is a blend of organically grown Montepulciano (80%) and Aglianico (20%), cropped from the Estate's sloping Ramitello vineyard. Assimilating the structure of the north and the juiciness of the south (the tiny DOC of Molice lies in the hills between Abruzzo and Campania). Alessio Di Majo crafts an approachable, shapely, tangy wine at a refreshing 13% alcohol. We loved the 2016s arrangement of fleshy red cherry, subtle spice and savoury meatiness, not to mention the wine's supple, round edges, nip of protein-loving tannins and slurpable, amaro finish. The new label is much easier on the eye, too. It's one of our default pizza wines.
