Pouilly Fuisse Terroir de Vergisson 2012

From one of the more distinctive terroirs of the Mconnais, the area is cooler and the soils tend to be very chalky adding more minerality. Only 15 per cent new oak is used and these subtle notes complement a mouthful of crunchy stone fruit and intense grapefruit refreshment. The finish is so crisp it has an almost Riesling-like ring to it. A very enticing vintage of this wine.
