About this product

Single-vineyard. The gravelly, limestone-rich soils of the Appiano Monte at 550 meters above sea level is considered to be one of the premier terroirs of the Alto Adige. The elevation and old vines make a considerable contribution to the wine, as does hand harvesting, partial malo and partial vinification in large oak. The aromas and flavours of preserved lemon, pear, nut meal, fleshy texture and a mineral edge. It has a lovely juicy, zingy, citrussy acidity on the long, savoury finish.
