The rare La Mauny Vintage 1995 comes from the island of Martinique in the Caribbean. This vintage rhum agricole is distilled from cane harvested in 1995 and aged for six-and-a-half years in casks previously used to mature cognac. Nose of cooked fruits and jam are the first impressions, followed by blond tobacco and ginger bread smells. The palate is mineral and fruity dry grape and apricot aromas with hints of cinnamon and curry; an elegant aromatic finish with persistency.
