La Purisima
Trapio Monastrell 2008

About this product

Grown 800 metres from dry grown 50-year-old Monastrell vines with low yeilds, this is a wine that would be considered unviable by the majority of growers throughout the world. Figs, dark spices and just a touch of molasses in a nose. Tannins and acid make the wine dry and savoury, with the old vine fruit making it rich and succulent! Stylish, delicious and great value. it is one of those rare wines that is well drinking right now but also has 10 years meaningful cellar time ahead of it.
