About this product

What a stunning 2nd label of Te Hera! A fabulous wine for its bold fruit, silky textures, savoury complexity and clean acid finish. A true food wine. 'Kiritea' is Maori for fair weather. The 2012 follows a string of excellent vintages.
Varietal: Pinot Noir. With Light - Medium garnet hues. The aroma is unmistakeably Pinot, aromatic and fragrant, red berry fruits, dark herb, savoury, there are nice touches of violet and spice in the mix too. Has a fine and elegant mouth feel. There are layers of flavour here, lovely fruit in the berry and cherry spectrum, medium-bodied, with savoury complexity and supple tannins , good energy, lingering, Pinot Noirish, earthy detail.
