About this product

Our Don VincEnzo is the supreme expression of Chianti Classico with its 100% of Sangiovese. 95 Points James Suckling
"Don Vincenzo is the estate’s top Chianti Classico, and a single vineyard wine. The 2009 is first rate, albeit in a richer style than the ‘basic’ Riserva—and built for aging. It is intensely flavored, full bodied, complex in flavor, crisp and well balanced, with a lightly tannic finish. In aroma/flavor, it tastes of plum, cassis, red licorice, toast, cedar, and new oak. Needs aging. 98% Sangiovese. Aged 18 in French oak barrels, 70% new. Organically grown grapes. Panzone in Chianti."
