Dry, Full Bodied style of NebbioloThis is the flagship Barolo from Ciabot Berton made using the best of traditional methods. Aged in large old oak barrels, the flavours are all about superb nebbiolo fruit - tar, roses, spice, fennel, dark fruits. 2004 is a long cellaring vintage but is now bgining to show why it is regarded as a great year. Tannins have softened to reveal great depth of flavour and complexity. Serve in a large Pinot glass and ideally decant (for air) prior to drinking.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
