Ingredients;
50mL bourbon whiskey
25mL lemon juice
15mL sugar syrup
1 dash bitters
15mL red wine, to 'float'
Lemon zest, to garnish
Ice
Method;
Add bitters, sugar syrup, lemon juice and bourbon whiskey to a cocktail shaker
Add ice, shake and double-strain into a tumbler
Add ice and gently pour red wine 'float' over the top of the drink, ensuring it sits as a layer on top
Garnish with lemon zest.
