Ingredients:
15ml Sugar Syrup
20ml Lime Juice
6 - 8 Mint Leaves
50ml Dark Rum
Garnish: 8 dashes Angostura bitters
Garnish: Mint Sprigs.
Method:
To a tall glass, add sugar syrup, lime juice, mint leaves and dark rum.
Add crushed ice, filling to about ⅔ full and churn thoroughly, ensuring all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Add dashes of bitters to the inside of glass at the top of the ice, twisting the glass with each dash so you have an even layer of bitters.
Add more crushed ice to fill glass, careful to place on top evenly to keep the bitters layer.
Garnish with mint sprigs.
