This is the flagship Cabernet of the Jim Barry stable, The Benbournie has been created with the Jim Barry philosophy to be enjoyed upon release after a period of long term cellaring (under correct conditions) to enhance the wine’s qualities.

The name and label is a tribute to an important musician: Ian Curtis of Joy Division, whose music is played without fail at least once a week during vintage.

The creation is an upfront concentrated and well-balanced wine, demonstrating some intriguing cinnamon spice and a beautiful fine dusty tannin finish.
