WeathercraftBeechworth Rosé
About this product
This is not your average rosé. Handpicked from painstakingly managed 20-year-old Shiraz vines, the fruit was crushed and sent directly to tank to preserve the character of the wine. Fleeting contact with skins rewards with gorgeous colour and crunch. A cooler ferment keeps it bright, before ageing in old French oak for an element of savouriness.

Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Shiraz picked at 12. degrees baume specifically for this rose, chilled through to press and brief maturation in used French oak. Intense wine drawing on acidity as much as fruit for its flavour.
