Hand-picked fruit, open ferment, cold soak for 5 days, on skins for 14 days, 10 months in French oak barrels (30% new). Winemaker Raquel Jones has Spanish heritage and has chosen an early-drinking joven style for her tempranillo. Plenty of life and energy here. Bursts free with juicy dark cherries, red plums, dried herbs and a hint of tomato leaf. A dry, lightly savoury expression with grainy tannins. The result is a youngster that almost demands the company of food.
