About this product

THALASSITIS is produced from Santorini’s indigenous white grape variety, Assyrtiko. Perhaps, it is the only variety in the Mediterranean that manages to combine full maturity of grapes with considerably high acidity, despite the specific climatic conditions of the island

Drank this with some lamb souvlaki and authentic Greek salad and it was simply delicious. It's exactly as the tasting notes say - dry and full-bodied. Like a sav blanc, but 'bigger'.

Four bottles later over many years.... it’s still as inspiring as when purchased in Santorini in 2016. A great special occasion dry white from Greece with the expressive Santorini microclimate delivering a long finish with expected mineral
