In the great years even lesser priced commercial wines can improve a couple of notches. Such a year was 2022 in the Clare Valley for Riesling. The generous, easy juiciness and varietal purity displayed in the '22 Portraits of Clare “Rizza”, at this price, could only be from a great year. Er…and a great winemaker - the quality fruit needs to be harnessed correctly. You will relish the citrus blossom notes, the depth of lime fruit, the volume of flavour, and the clean, crisp finish. You could even keep this one for a couple of years.
