Château MeyneySt-Estèphe 2011
About this product
2011 is a good year for the struggling-for-attention Chateau Meyney; the wine produced is a kind of 'return to form' for the producer, showing that finesse and full-bodied can go hand-in-hand. The sizeable estate of some 49 hectares is located next to Chateau Montrose, so the neighbourhood is sound. Winemaking has taken a step up and new barrels are kept to alow 30% for maturation, resulting in a game-meat rich wine of full flavour, ripe fruit and luscious demeanour.
