Château Clos FourtetSaint-Émilion 2011
About this product
The former winemaker, Pierre Lurton, now holding the reigns at the epic Cheval Blanc estate, laid the groundwork for the evolution of this previously overlooked estate, raising the quality of wine and leading current winemaker Daniel Alard into a winning position for high quality wines. The estate is traditional with a picture-perfect, ivy-covered Chateau but its the attention to detail in vineyards alongside side modest (60 to 70% new) oak usage that lets the fruit shine.
