Niigata is known in Japan for its Three White treasures, i.e. snow, rice and sake, and a naturally blessed environment for pure water source. Made in Niigata, SHINOBU (meaning Forbearance in Japanese) Whisky is hand crafted by the creative master blender, Mr. Usami. Carefully selecting whisky from around the world. Beginning maturation in ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks. Finishing in precious Japanese Mizunara oak.
Rich and complex! Aromas of Mizunara oak, maltose (malt sugar), milky coffee, and hints of blueberry. The palate shows hints of oily, ripe fruit, lemon peel, oak, leather, cinnamon and ginger. A finish of sweet malt, oak and fruit.
