A 50/50% blend of chardonnay and viognier, wild-fermented in French oak (30% new). I wouldn't have made it in the first place, nor did I expect to derive enjoyment from tasting it. Well, I was at least partly wrong. It is a rich blend, the viognier not killing the chardonnay, acidity the saving grace, even though reduced by mlf.
