Henschke's Abbotts Prayer is produced on Stephen and Prue Henschke's Lenswood vineyard in the Adelaide Hills and contains 57% merlot and 43% cabernet sauvignon grapes. Colour is vivid crimson, with sweet, spicy notes of dark berries, blood plums and underlying toasty notes of French oak. Palate is beautifully complex with fine grained tannins. Velvet and textual with a lingering finish.
