Comfortably in the groove. Smooth-textured, well-weighted and balanced. Flavours of chocolate, blackcurrant and briar bush flow more or less effortlessly from start to finish. Grainy bitterness to the aftertaste promotes an impression of sturdiness. It's ripe for drinking now but it will be better again given a couple of years in a cool, dark place.
