Cabernet sauvignon, hand-picked, crushed, destemmed, 10 days cool ferment, matured for 12 months in used French oak. Had the extreme misfortune to follow the '14 Balnaves Tally Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon when tasted. Lilliput against a giant. After soda water rinses, green olives chewed, I came back to this wine and its almost elfin delicacy, red berries, spices and spidery tannins.
