YarraLochLa Cosette Chardonnay 2017
About this product
Fruit was sourced from the Dixon's Creek sub-region of the Yarra Valley for this elegant and restrained Chardonnay. Whole bunch pressed (which gives it a lovely grapefruit pithy-ness) and fermented in a mix of stainless steel and old French oak. Extended lees contact is checked by bright, appley acid.

A blend of Dijon clones, the fruit chilled, whole-bunch pressed, then fermented in used French oak on full solids, matured for 8 months, plus a further 10 months in tank on lees. Well made, long and balanced.
