PetalumaRiesling 2014
About this product
Petaluma's Hanlin Hill, originally planted in 1968, is one of the highest elevated vineyards in the Clare Valley. The soils are mostly red brown soils interspersed with gravelly shales. After cold settling, the clear juice is vinified in stainless steel fermenters with Petaluma's own yeast strains, first isolated by founder Brian Croser during the early 1980s. Petaluma Riesling, described as a "dry late picked style", is a quintessential Clare Valley Riesling with superb pure lime/lemon aromas, fruit sweetness and "slatey minerality".

Light bodied white wines have a water-light mouthfeel. Often very pale to light colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
