As a medium style of Grenache, this wine shows dense aromas of red berries and earthy forest floor. Maturation was in seasoned hogsheads, resulting in minimal oak influence. Berry fruits, hints of strawberries and cream, combine with some stalky whole bunch herbaceousness. The palate is rich but soft and compliments most meat dishes. Still fresh and vibrant this wine will reward careful short to medium term cellaring.
