23rd Street Distillers have taken the ruffian of spirits, trimmed its mullet & polished its manners. Yet, our Signature Rum still has a glint in its eye. You’ll sense the raw energy of Australian cane sugar lurking under sticky date pudding & marmalade toast characters. From tin mug or crystal glass, it’ll warm your cockles.
Golden good looks and aromas of butterscotch, ginger and vanillin oak. Warm as sunshine over cane fields, smooth yet spiked with the tang of marmalade and a nip of ginger spice.
Fermented Australian sugarcane is double distilled and stashed away in first re-use ex-bourbon barrels. It serves a term at high strength, is down off and broken back to bottling strength then returned to the barrels. Shaped by the Riverland climate and ghosts of bourbon past, the result is pure gold!
