The 2007 Annie's Lane Shiraz is one of the latest editions to the Dan Murphy's Cellar Release program. After spending 5+ years in our climate controlled cellars, this always attractive Clare Valley Shiraz is drinking superbly. What were bold and upfront tannins on release have dropped away to reveal a wine of subtlety and elegance. Enjoy today with an Osso Bucco or medium-rare scotch fillet.

Annie's Lane is a favourite of mine but the 2007 vintage was exquisite, the wine had a deep rich colour matched with similar deep rich flavours. A drink that would compliment any meal but also great on it's own.

2007 – Great rich colour. Fresh mint and pine forest bouquet. Initial tartness with a bit of a harsh taste. Very dry finish. I recon you can do better for this money, should have softened more after 5+ years in the bottle.
