A bright purple robe verging on opaque sets the tone. The bounce of violet florals, the pulp of red and black cherry, the decadence of booze-soused cherry bonbons and hints of anise and root spice, all edge along a scale of well managed oak tannins. A forceful, vibrant wine, this is high on personality if not a bit hot on the alcohol front.
